A Nvidia está a preparar-se para lançar modelos RTX 5060 Ti

A RTX 5060 Ti could be the next graphics card Nvidia introduces to the market, following the release of the RTX 5070, which is expected to launch in early March. Nvidia may roll out the 16 GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti in the second half of March, with the 8 GB version potentially arriving in early April.

Currently, no official details have been released regarding the specifications of these two models. However, many industry forecasts suggest they will feature the GB206 GPU, a variant of the Blackwell architecture positioned below the GB205 chip found in the RTX 5070. Notably, the RTX 5060 Ti is likely to retain a 128-bit memory bus, in line with previous iterations like the RTX 4060 Ti.

While the VRAM capacity and memory bus configuration are expected to remain unchanged, rumors indicate Nvidia plans to equip the RTX 5060 Ti models with GDDR7 memory. This upgrade could deliver a significant boost in memory bandwidth performance compared to the GDDR6 used in the RTX 4060 Ti. Specifically, GDDR7 is anticipated to achieve speeds of 28 Gbps, surpassing the 18 Gbps of the previous generation, which could increase overall bandwidth by more than 50%. This improvement may help address concerns regarding the unchanged VRAM capacity.
