Tomb Raider Creator's Dream Cycle está agora em acesso antecipado

Um título que permaneceu fora do radar por algum tempo, Dream Cycle foi apresentado durante a recente Gamescom antes de chegar em acesso antecipado no Steam em 7 de setembro. Criado por Toby Gard, a mente por trás de títulos icônicos como Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider: Legend, Anniversary e Underworld, Dream Cycle é mais uma aventura de ação em terceira pessoa com uma protagonista feminina explorando ruínas misteriosas. No entanto, as semelhanças com Tomb Raider terminam aqui. Este novo projeto de Gard transporta os jogadores para uma jornada de ação e fantasia ambientada em uma dimensão alternativa, inspirada na obra literária de H.P. Lovecraft. O anúncio foi acompanhado por um trailer revelado durante o evento Gamescom One Night Live.

Sweet Dreams Are Made of These

In Dream Cycle, players step into the shoes of Morgan Carter, a sorcerer-in-training trapped in the enigmatic Dreamlands after being betrayed by a familiar. Upon discovering the realm in ruins and cursed by unknown forces, Morgan must defeat its shadowy inhabitants to restore the Dreamlands to their former glory. Fortunately, Morgan is far from a damsel in distress. You’ll have an arsenal of magical spells, illusions, traps, and stealth techniques at your disposal to outwit and overpower enemies. If preferred, conventional weapons like swords, bows, and even firearms are also part of your toolkit. A perks system reminiscent of Skyrim allows you to fully customize your character. Along the journey, you’ll uncover Morgan’s backstory while seeking the means to escape the Dreamlands once and for all.

What makes Dream Cycle truly stand out is its expansive, ever-evolving sandbox world. The early access version boasts an astonishing 10,000 unique adventures for players to explore across its sprawling map. Like a living, breathing dreamscape, new areas, creatures, quests, items, and biomes will be introduced with every update, enticing players to return and discover more.
